Meet The Team

Lori Smith DSM, DRSM, DSEM, DARM, Cert MA, NAT

Lori 15fd492is the owner of Body Logic. She graduated from the Scottish Massage Schools in 2014 having completed her diploma in Swedish Massage Therapy. She went on to qualify in Remedial & Sports Massage followed by her diploma in Sports Events Massage. During this course she developed her knowledge of working with athletes of all levels during their training and leading up to their events. Lori has recently gained her Diploma in Advanced Remedial Massage where she learned more specific assessments, techniques, mobilisations, sensation testing and neurology. She also holds a Diploma in Oncology Massage for people currently going through cancer treatment, remission or in palliative care. Lori holds qualifications in Medical Acupuncture, Kinesio Taping Level KT1 & 2 and Traditional Taping techniques, Hot Stone Massage and Aromafacial Massage. She has a Masters Certificate in Trigger Point Therapy (Neil Asher Technique) and holds a current Pitch Side First Aid certificate. Lori works closely with Boxers from the Peterhead Boxing Club in Boddam and has previously worked with Buchanhaven Hearts Junior Football Club. She is now back with the Scottish Massage Schools as a Course Leader teaching Swedish and Remedial and Sports Massage.  She is a keen swimmer, hillwalker and cyclist. She has a special interest in Fibromyalgia and working with the elderly. She is a registered member of the Scottish Massage Therapy Organisation (SMTO), Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Sports Therapy Organisation (STO).

Angela Mitchell DSM, DRSM, Cert MA, BA, RGN

Angela joinedAngela Headshot Body Logic in August 2016. She is a registered nurse having gained her degree in BA Adult Nursing in 2004. She then went on to study Swedish Massage through Scottish Massage Schools and qualified in 2013 followed by her Diploma in Remedial & Sports Massage in 2014. She is qualified in Kineso Taping Level KT 1&2 and Medical Acupuncture. Angela particularly enjoys yoga, walking, scuba diving and is a keen spectator of all sports.  She is very interested in maintaining a healthy body and mind. Angela is a registered member of the professional body Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation (SMTO).
